How is junk removal pricing calculated?

At Talk Trash, we keep pricing simple: we charge based mainly on how much space your stuff takes up in our truck or trailer. A single recliner is not priced like a packed garage—and we are not going to charge you for a full load when you only have a small pile.

Before we lift a single box, couch, or “I swear I was going to fix that” appliance, we’ll give you a clear, upfront price.

What goes into the price?

Your quote is based on a few straightforward things:

• Volume: How much room your junk takes up—often quoted as a minimum load, quarter load, half load, three-quarter load, or full load.

• Type of material: Everyday household junk is different from heavy materials such as concrete, dirt, shingles, brick, or large amounts of construction debris.

• Labor and access: A curbside pickup is quicker than carrying a heavy sleeper sofa down three flights of stairs, through a narrow hallway, and around a mountain driveway.

• Disposal or special-handling fees: Some items—such as tires, mattresses, refrigerators, air conditioners, TVs, and electronics—may carry recycling or disposal fees.

• Demolition work: If you need a shed, deck, playset, hot tub, or other small structure taken apart before hauling it away, we’ll include the labor and disposal in your quote.

• Distance and job location: Most jobs in our normal Western North Carolina service area are straightforward. Extra travel may apply for locations well outside our regular route.

What is included?

Your quoted price generally includes the crew, loading, hauling, responsible disposal, and a final sweep-up of the area. You point. We lift. Your clutter gets a one-way ticket out.

Will I know the price first?

Absolutely. No hidden fees. No “it depends” games. No surprise total after the truck is loaded.
